#364: Christmas 2010

Chart At A Glance
- Some old favorites stick around, such as MercyMe’s “What Child Is This” and Avalon’s “We Are The Reason”, while others move on down or even out, replaced by new entries
- Last year’s surprise #1 entry, Aselin Debison’s “The Gift”, stays at #1
- Several instrumental pieces penetrate the top half of the chart, and even my Top 10
- The highest debut, “Strathglass” by Phil Cunningham at #8, is an instrumental piece
- Songs by Paul Cardall, Fred Simon, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, and Robert Mauti rise significantly from last year
- Finally, new songs by Kutless, Matthew West, Sleeping At Last, and Becky Kelley debut, as well as a few older songs by City On A Hill, Vanessa Williams, and Theocracy
- Note: Rank comparisons between now and last year are for song titles only. Meaning, if I favor a different artist’s version of a song this year than I did last year, the song still counts as having ranked last year
- Another note: I only chart 1 version of a song in this Top 50; any indicated alternate versions following the main song titles are songs that I would likely rank if I allowed multiple versions
- For songs that have lyrics available, song titles are links to lyrics
- For songs that have multiple artists, “[alt]” links go to the “Alternate Versions” list on the bottom of the page
- “Watch” and “Hear” links lead to music videos, full-length audio, or audio samples of the songs
