Chart At A Glance
- This is easily the most active start to December, in the history of my chart
- After 41 consecutive weeks at #2, Jeremy Camp’s “What It Means” falls to #3, as “Things Left Unsaid” moves up. This is seriously the hottest contender for #1, and is in fact so close to taking the spot
- “A Better Way” spends its 70th and perhaps final week at #1, nevertheless the most consecutive weeks ever at #1
- Nate Sallie appears on a downward spiral now, as “Lone Ranger” plunges to #10
- So rare for this time of year, more songs debut in my Top 25, for the second week in a row, one by tobyMac at #21 and the other by Carrie Underwood at #25
- Chris Tomlin’s “Amazing Grace” jumps up 15 spots to #30
- Another veteran hit on my chart retires this week, Matthew West’s “More”, which charted 193 weeks. Now Casting Crowns’ “Who Am I” is the oldest charting song (at 184 weeks), and it actually rebounds this week! It sure seems to have plenty of life in it still
